I recently perchased a Pinnacle, Dazzle DVC100 A/V to USB converter. Can MC be able to link to it for audio and visual streams?

Processor: AMD Athlon, 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ 2.80GHz

Generally, those firewire and USB A/D converter boxes show up to the OS like a camcorder, which MC can use as a recording input in the Television "section" of the program. A lot has changed in this part of the application recently, though so your best bet is to try it and see what happens.
I used to use my much-more-high-end ADVC-700 (http://professional.grassvalley.com/products/advc700/) converter with an older version of MC (I believe 12, but it might have been 11.1) but it has been a long time since I've needed to use MC for anything like that.
