Title: Tiny Twin USB2 Tuner - MC 14 and Australian EPG Info
Post by: longpole001 on July 24, 2009, 12:45:57 am
Using a the USB 2 Tiny Twin HD digital tuner with MC 14 ( on XP sp3) , The unit pickups all the channels in MC 13 ( previous installed ver )  , as well as the now MC 14- ver 14.032 during a channel scan , but no epg is ever picked up.

The delay for switching between channels is about 2 secs in mc14 , ( same as per the supplied TV LIve software supplied ) , but the live tv software does show epg info.

In mc14 i do a over the air epg data load , but it does not get any info and gives generic error of make sure the tv tunner is not in use etc , i can only assume that this tunner type is not at the moment supported in mc14 - for the EPG data , is this correct ?

IF so can anyone advise where i can get the epg data to load for mc14 for australia

Regards

Live EPG scan is supported for ATSC (North America) only, not for DVB-T.  You need to use XMLTV or mc2xml.

In Options/Theater View, you can add a program.

Try taking a look at raym's post here (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=50211.msg343441#msg343441) (as well as the rest of that thread.)
