Wish MC informed me (maybe other customers) via email (mailinglist or something) regarding new versions and discounted price. I missed the chance to upgrade for 14$ and now I have to shell out 24$.
I have purchased upgrades twice in the past which happened by chance when I visited the forum, and now I am disappointed that new version got released without any intimation.
MC - could you pleas consider other marketing strategy?

I'm sorry we missed you, but you should have received e-mail sent to the address for your forum account. Sometimes these are blocked. Check with your e-mail provider.

I received an email - I think most did, based on a bunch of posts on the forums at the time. Are you sure the email address you're using is the same one you registered with?
I've always found J River communicates sufficiently via email, without overwhelming you with promotional offers and advertising. It's a tough balance that most software companies don't do well.

I can swear that I didn't get the message with the email ID that was registered to software. I always scan junk mails before deleting them. Even now I keep getting update info for DFX since I bought their plugin for MC. Not even once I saw email from MC.
THe email ID that I am using for the forum is different as I am bit paranoid that some hacker might harvest emails from forums and misuse.
I really wish to update.... but not at that price.

If you're using a different mail adress on the forum than you're normal mail account, is it that wierd that you missed the offer?
