One feature I really like with MC 14 is the new RAW photo cache. It's a godsend for making raw slideshows possible.
However, it solves on half of the problem - one still needs to go through the raw photos at snail pace to build the cache.
I was thinking that the same way the audio import can analyze audio files, it would be really nice if the photo import could build cached versions of the raw files.
