I own an Insignia Pilot MP3 player. The device includes a dedicated rating toggle to allow you to rate your songs 1-5 and appears to use the same system as the standard 1-5 star rating system that WMP & Media Center use. However, I cannot figure out how to copy song ratings from my device to Media Center. Any sort of copy/paste only seems to paste a record for the song as located on my device. I assumed sync would cover this but that doesn't seem to be the case unless I'm doing something wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I use the ratings to help me clean up my songs (if an album only has 2* songs, I can remove it from my HDD) and as well to help me build mix-CDs (random of 3* songs or higher mixed into a CD limited by 70 min).
