Title: MC13 Sound problem

Just started ripping my DVD's to use with MC and it will only playback in 2 channel. 
Vista 32, set to Realtek Digital output and WASAPI.
I thought it was a problem with the rip but, DVD does the same thing.  Stop MC and play in WMC and get perfect 5.1 to the receiver.
Where do I start?
