Title: DirectX DSP Plugins Not Working
Post by: shoshaw on August 13, 2009, 09:42:46 am
I have installed the DirectX host on MC14 and it seems to install.  When I add the plugin "A0 Parametric EQ" it seems to install, too.  When I run DSP studio, I get a Windows error that shuts MC14 down completely.  The above combination of SW works perfectly in MC13.

Any hints?

MC14 has native support of DirectShow DSP filters.   You shouldn't need the DirectX Host plug-in.

Thanks.  I have uninstalled the DirectX host and A0 EQ.  I then reinstalled the A0 EQ.  I still get the same error.

Also, when I launch the plugin manager, the video in the window is "garbled".

I'm considering reinstalling MC14.

I have uninstalled MC14, reinstalled MC14 and then added the A0 EQ plugin.  I still get the same error.

Now I'm really confused.
