some of my movies no longer appear in the Video view. i can find them via Drives & Devices/my computer and they have their full tag info & coverart but they do not appear in any other view...
this is not because any rule in the video view is precluding the files: i have created a blank video view with no rules and searched via wizard for [filename] contains <whatever>
when i import the folder containing one of the files (set to import all files, and not to ignore files previously removed from library) no new files are added, but if i set 'import files new when played' and play the file, then the movie returns to the flock.
the last time i saw these files in the video view was to retrieve metadata from IMDb using a great tool which i will now plug because its great:

this renamed the files as well as changing tags, but other so-renamed files just had their links updated, and regardless i dont understand why auto-import wouldn't've found these escapees
Please, how can this be?
