I think this is an excellent feature request...
A small layout/display tweak:
There should be spaces between semicolon delimited fields in the table rows.
Instead of displaying the field values all bunched up together e.g. [Mood]=Sad;Uplifting;Soothing
it should be displayed as [Mood]=Sad; Uplifting; Soothing.
The way the field values are currently displayed makes them look like one word.
I used 'List (semicolon delimited)' data type for a number of my tag fields.
The table will look neater and will be much easier to read if this is implimented.
I hope you like the suggestion. Thanks!

I remember a variant of this request to do with display when hovering over a list field.
Instead of displaying [Mood]=Sad;Uplifting;Soothing
the popup would show
Sad
Uplifting
Soothing

I'm not sure this is relevant to your request, but I'll mention it in case it is...
At first, I was confused because in my movie view (where there are many list categories) all the items were separated by "; ". Then I spotted one that wasn't. Only then did I realize difference was made by the Separator set in PvdImport. Most were set to "; ", but a few did not include the space. I have no idea what it is PvdImport is doing to effect the end result. In edit mode, those fields look exactly the same. And if a space is added afterwards, it's ignored.

Awesome idea!
