Title: Edit iPod sync options w/o the device plugged in?
Post by: BryanC on September 03, 2009, 06:33:39 pm
I currently have my options set to auto sync my iPod on connect. However, this leaves me no time to select new playlists to sync to the device before the queue is made.  Is there a way that MC14 could allow us to edit device options without the device physically connected? This way I would not have to sync twice when I have new playlists to add.

Another option would be to create recursive "sync playlist folders," in which all new playlists added to that specific folder would be selected to sync to the device as default.

Thanks!

This comes up every once in a while.

The deal is that we don't know everything about a device until it's connected so we don't allow configuration until then.

However, there's no harm in cancelling a sync, making some changes, and starting it up again.
