Good evening
I have been searching through all possible sources but couldn't find anything detailing how to configure MC14 to connect to an external UPNP server (Synology CS407, DLNA compliant). Right now I am still testing so didn't purchase a full version.
Do I need a plugin ? Is this doable at all ?
Thanks for any hint / tip, which supports me in getting this done.

In the tree on the left, open Services and Plug-ins. You will see UPnP Server. Open it and set the options (choose DLNA) and then start the server.
I have no idea if it will work.

thanks for that quick response ...
Well, I don't want to make j.river an additional UPNP server beside my already running Synology NAS; I want it to read my music library acting as an UPNP player only. Maybe I don't properly recall, but playing around with an older version of j.river (10 ?) a while ago I meant to have seen a plugin for this kind of functionality.
Thanks

Our UPnP server is a "Device" under UPnP terms. Maybe you want a "Renderer" to play the files. MC doesn't do that.
