Title: MC 14.0.71 Cannot Change encoder to Mp3 without error

     MC 14.0.71 Cannot Change encoder to Mp3 without error:  I receive this message when I attempt to change encoder from the default windows media to Mp3: "The plugin MP3 Encoder needs an additional component" Do you want to install it now? Followed by: Invalid package file. Cannot continue. Any help would be great. Thank you

MC needs to download and install the MP3 encoder plugin package before the MP3 encoding options can be accessed.

Perhaps a security program or security setting in your system is preventing that. (What is your OS version, by the way?)

I just recently installed MC14 on a fresh XP system and the MP3 encoder setup process went through without problems.
