Title: Image Thumbnail turn off option

Is there a way to turn off the image thumbnail (cover art) in the column display so that it reverts back to the blue of yellow music note?

Rather than toggling the Show Only File in Library box, it would make it easier to view all files and see which are in the library and which are not all in one group.  Or is there some tag that can be added to serve this purpose?

You can add the 'Image (small icon)' column to any view with columns.

It would be helpful then to sort by this column to examine all files not in the library at the top of the list.
