Title: IMDB or movie database

I know this has been asked but I have not seen a complete answer yet. I was looking though the screenshots of MC14 and noticed a few photos showing the movie data (year, actors, summary, etc). I assume from IMDB.

Was that gathered automatically by MC14? or did someone have to painstakingly enter that in by hand for each movie?

I have a video library that consists of DVD (files), MKV & AVI. Organized in a folder called “MOVIES” then in a sub folder for each "MOVIE TITLE" each sub folder has the movie file(s) plus a folder.jpg movie cover.
