Title: Multiple genre

Is there a way to have a album under let say my rock genre and also under my live genre without having duplicate songs on my hard drive?

that is very well possible. you have two options, one is making your own list field type library field called genres (that is what i use), or you can use the standard field genre with an expression. you can read more about it here for instance: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=53838.0
