Title: Any plans for remote burning?
Post by: BryanC on October 03, 2009, 03:16:18 pm
I would love the ability to make CD's from my music collection when I'm away from the house for long periods of time (which is happening with more frequency nowadays). Are there plans to implement this feature? There could be two options: secure (transfers all of the files to the client computer, then burns) and fast (buffers to some point, and then begins burning).

Any media, any time, any place....

Thanks!

It worked before! (

Today was the need to burn a disc in the kitchen (MC in client mode). It turns out that it is now impossible, though not so long ago I recorded the disc through a VPN connection
in the same mode (around the time he worked "Locate to external" on client).

Can I hope that the function of burning discs on the MC-client will be refunded?

I rarely create the dead disc-based formats, like CD and DVD, but here for example: before my wedding, August 21, I recorded 4 CD-Audio at a time with my home MC clients without any problems. But now we don't have this function.

I can't think why the burner would care if the file was local or coming from the internet.

We'll take a look.

Just burned my 1st CD....over WAN with Library Server to my office for the ride home; didn't have time last night when my son held my HTPC hostage.

INCREDIBLE!
