hi
i have succesfully imported 26,000+ m4a (Apple Lossless) files into MC14 and all of them playback perfectly, but for about 400 tracks MC is only reading the 'name' tag and bitrate/time. All other tags are blank. I have tried updating library from tags, clearing library and starting again, using tools such as MP3tag to optimize the m4a, and still no tags. All tags are read fine by other programs such as Winamp, Tag & Rename, etc. All files playback fine. I cannot find any pattern in the files that aren't being read correctly, and many of the tracks are single tracks from albums where all other tracks work fine.
So I thought I would post a short track whose tags can't be read here:

in case anyone can test it out on another PC/shed any light
thanks

I tested your sample file and you are correct, MC couldn't read the tags. I don't know what is wrong, but as a workaround you can fix them with Mp3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/):
1. Place the files in Playing Now in MC
2. Select All
3. Drag the files to Mp3tag
4. Select all
5. Right-click the selected files and select "Tag Cut"
6. Right-click the selected files again and select "Tag Paste". (Be careful to not change the selection or file order anyhow before pasting the tags)
At least the above procedure was able to fix your sample file.
