Seems to be only ".ts" files (HD TV recordings from WinTV). Double clicking the file, or clicking the play icon will play the file, but I have to double click the small display (lower left) to go full screen. The strange thing is this only happens on one of two MC instances I have (same version .71). I assume its a setting, but I can't imagine what it could be. All other videos (DVD, .AVI, M2TS, etc.) will immediately jump to display view. Its a real problem because its happening on my HTPC, so from theater view, I hear the audio... but I have to exit to standard view....double click the small display to watch the program. Any ideas on what I should check in my setup?

Just a thought: Check if the files is tagged as Data or Video on both machines. If it's data, it might not use the Jump function?
As a last resort, if you can't get it to work, it might be easier to go to playing now, and then double clicking the video there.

Thank you. Media type was "data" on the offending files. I guess that's a bug....as they were auto imported after capture.

New builds might treat TS in a different manner in new build versions. I think they was imported as video before(?), but is now data. Why it's treated as data I have no idea... A changed have been asked of at least one person in the last posts I've been reading.

I find this is the most persistent, annoying and nonsensical bug in MC. Files that are obviously video (by their type) and play fine (and if not, could be played by an external app) are "analyzed" and deemed to be data. The result is the file is effectively "lost." The behaviour might be tolerable if there were some purpose to it, but there doesn't seem to be.
