Title: asf files will not launch mj8 ?

When I click on a link that is an asf stream I get an error saying that there is no program associated with this type of file.  When in explorer I go to >tools >folder options >file types and hilight 'mediajukebox file' asf is listed as a registered file type.  What is going wrong?

Try go to Settings -> Options -> File Associations and see whether asf file was checked.

everything is selected ... including asf

have you tried clicking on the file right click open with then click media jukebox and at that the bottom check the box always open with this program

What version of MJ are you using?

I am using Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.318.  This is not a file on my computer.  This is an internet link I am clicking on.  I am able to drag and drop the link onto mediajukebox.  But I also want to schedule recordings.
