Not right now... They need me to verify my home phone number, but I can't do it because I'm not at home right now.  Maybe tonight...

Does each person get to invite others too, like with gmail?  I would appreciate an invite if you are able glynor.

Yeah... Each user gets three invites they can hand out.  I might have ONE to spare (I need two of them), but I'll have to look tonight.  So, sorry Benn.  Doof asked first.  If I happen to have more than three, I'll certainly hook you up.

Apparently, they only give out Invites to you when your account has been "active" for "some" time (very vague).  Either way, since I only just finally activated my account (by confirming my home phone number), I don't yet have any invites to give out at all.

If/When I get any, I'll be in touch...

Make sure to sign up for an invite on the Google Voice invite page.  That's how I got my account.  It took about 2-3 months, but I eventually got one.

Well, as it turns out, I got mine direct from Google last night, so I guess just a little more patience was all I needed.

I signed up for my invite tonight, with 3 million others I'm sure. If anyone has a spare invite they could send my way, let me know...

Google came back with one quickly. I'm now signed up and the last 4 digits of my phone number is JOHN!
