I've done a thorough search and as far as I can tell, the reply to all inquiries about MC streaming video to a TiVo consists of statements like
No, not possible. Right now you can only stream music and photos. Maybe in the future, but there are a few hurdles to cross.
If that's the case, then why does the "Video Capabilities" section of the FAQ (http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Video_Capabilities) explicitly say:
MC can serve videos to a TiVo or to another PC or to UPnP devices.

Okay. Now, while we're on the subject, has there been any progress in making it work for video, too? I don't know if you are aware of it, but the latest version of the bittorent client Vuze (formerly Azureus) can be used to transfer to TiVo Series 3 (maybe Series 2, with some hacking).
