Title: Can't skip DVD intro and get to DVD Menu

This seems specific to some DVDs.  I put in South Park Season 8 DVD and it forces me to watch the entire intro... which is over 6 minutes long and pitches Comedy Central's other shows.  When I right click the screen and choose "DVD Menu" nothing happens.  I also can't skip to a specific title.  I've tried different video codecs to no avail.  Anyone have any ideas how I can just get to the DVD menu?

This is specific to those DVDs.  That is a "feature" you can implement when authoring a disc (enabling and disabling the ability to navigate through some sequences).  Stinks, doesn't it?

If you rip the disc to your hard drive, most decrypting applications remove these restrictions because they are annoying.  If you play them from disc (without using special decrypt-on-the-fly software like AnyDVD), then you have to suffer through them.  This applies to both software and hardware DVD players.
