Title: How can i stop MC from auto-detecting CDs?
Post by: Amadan on October 17, 2009, 11:45:45 am
Hi,

for some historical reasons i still use EAC for ripping my audio CD's (i know MC can do that, too). When i insert a CD to be ripped (while EAC is the foreground application) i always get the following message in MC:

I get this message although i have disabled any autoplay options in my Win 7 (in control panel "Autoplay dialog" as well as through group policy). I also checked MC's options, but they look ok:

How can i stop MC from auto-detecting CDs? Is this a bug or a feature?

Thank you for any hints on that.

Bye,
Stefan

Sorry, i forgot to mention that i tried that option as well. Same behaviour, unfortunately. Maybe a Win 7 specific problem?
