Title: mac machine using vmware with windows xp jriver all files play except dvd files?

my gf has just imported all media folders from the network into her jriver on her mac using vmware fusion. all files play flawlessly EXCEPT dvd files... not one dvd file will play?  she keeps getting a error that states... media center encountered errors while trying to play the last several files, please make sure that the path in your media library points to the right location... Error details unknown media error.

these files play fine on the main pc. and i'm using same codecs as she is.
i'm lost on this one...

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know.  You might try a google search for a similar problem with mac and vmware.

You could tell MC to use WMP when it can.  You can also launch a different DVD player from Theater View.  You'd have to set up a new option on the home Theater View menu.
