I am very careful with my media files, and i dislike programs that without my intervention as default changes physical files. MC does this, default behavior is that tags are written automatically. I would like this to not be default-behavior, or subject to some pop-up windows the first time or similar ("MC is trying to write your tags, would you like it to do this", or similar.). First of all its annoying when trying out a program, second, every time a new major version comes it automatically imports the library, and starts to try to write to my files, because settings are defaulted again. Please consider changing this, I find changing files without the user doing anything to be unwanted behavior for a program.
