MC client always crash after resume from hibernation. I not remember from which the build, but a little before everything was OK..
I made two points from three after incomplete shutdown (default skin and disable 3rd party plugins), but problem is still.

Is your install on a removable drive? Mine always crashes after resume and I believe it's because Windows boots my removable drive up a bit to slowly.
-
If you use TRemote and the server goes away, Media Center will not be happy.
Notice this from the log:
3120956: 2680: Reader: CInternetReader::Open: ConnectToURL failed, timed out (15000 seconds), URL=http://5.0.1.10:8899/MCWS/v1/Playback/Info?Zone=0&ZoneType=id
A future version may handle this more gracefully, but for now, TRemote requires a working server.

No Mr ChriZ, its my main laptop installation, normal install on C: drive.
Unfortunately Matt, I don't use Tremote feature because don't have playback devices in my server (like don't have it in my work servers )). I use laptop for playing at home and at work (and work in many places). I very want use Tremote feature, but its impossible now.
I can use client-server mode without Tremote?

The hang / crash is because the client can't reach the server. Perhaps the network interface isn't waking up?
-
All network interfaces in my laptop (build-in marvell gigabit ethernet and intel wifi + pci-e marvell ethernet in two dock-stations) waking up after resume with delay (dhcp assignment, wifi reconnect etc. - I don't think what it's possible now for wintel platform - prepare connections before application wakes up)..
Now MC client can still playing current file from loaded server library without persistent communication with the server (I checked this). And if you close server side - MC don't crash, and you can fix your server connection or change another library, or save your current playnow.. Maybe and this can possible - don't crash after resume?

OK, I made few test...
MC client resume without problems on my umpc vaio ux with WinXP inside. Of course wifi connects later, after player coming to life. However, no collapse is not a cause, and after the restoration connect, you can continue listening to music, or more than that, use Tremote (if this applies to you). MC can even falling asleep while playing a track, upon awakening the MC has no problems, just play again after reconnect...
Another versions?

Well, this is fixed in the latest version of MC15!
MC15 is now compatible with green technology, Greenpeace rejoices)
