Hello all, I have a simple question:
how can I persuade MC to NOT download cover art for inserted DVD automatically??

Hi
Does Options ==> tools==>Library & Folders then Get cover art unchecked (in options)
solve the problem?
I don't use Dvd and don't Download Covert art (i prefer google...)

Unfortunatley not because that stops all cover art downloading it's just DVD's that's annoying... This is a problem I highlighted recently. It's quite irritating!

Hmmm!

Yeah, this is really getting quite annoying.. especially in tview! An option to disable auto DVD cover art retrieval is a must. Alternatively, is it possible for MC to hook into whatever other online dbs are around that other players use for this?
-
I disable all cover art grabbing because I add it all by hand.

Already unchecked (it is relevant to Auto-Import anyway in my opinion)
It seems I found the solution: uncheck "Get cover art from internet after ripping" (Options -> CD & DVD -> CD Ripping -> Rip Complete Options)

People should remember the search functionality in the options pane. You can search "cover" and pretty much get the concise list of relevant topics. Instantly.

This definitely needs to be more clear.
Options->CD&DVD needs to have a separate branch for DVD options (and DVD ripping).

Bump. Please!!!..... can something be done to improve this or at least provide an option to stop these DVD covers from getting downloaded automatically when inserting a disc in either Standard or Theater Views?! I've diabled all conceivable auto-download options and yet when I pop a DVD into the drive, I'm still seeing grainy, mismatched covers. NOTE: I'm talking about DVD video on disc here. Ie, NOT media played directly from my library which I've tagged and added correct cover art to myself.

Me too! I'm starting to think maybe I'm just old fashioned in buying/renting DVD's!

I still buy a lot of DVDs, and CDs too.
