Title: Some podcasts fail when behind firewall
Post by: c00ld00d on November 06, 2009, 02:50:16 pm
This has been happening for a while, but I'm not sure why. I've just dealt with it. But today, I'm out of things to listen to, so it's annoying me...

When I'm connected at home, all podcasts download just fine. They just download slowly (DSL).

When I'm at work and behind our proxy/firewall, most still do fine, but some are 'detected' and start to download, but fail almost immediately. I have my proxy settings set for all of the protocols, so I'm not sure why they'd be failing, unless they are getting explicitly blocked by the firewall.

Any ideas of how I can fix this?

Thanks,

CD

Buy your network administrator a box of chocolates.
