Title: XPSP3/Win7 x64 mixed net - Is Library Server supported in this environment?

I have MC14 with library server running on an XP machine, trying to connect to remote library from a Win7 x64 Ulimate box.  No joy.  Firewalls are open for TCP and UDP. 

When I do a search for media server, the error is "Failed to find local Media server".

When entering the IP address or the machine name, I get a blank, new default library.

This exact setup is working for me.

Check firewalls etc, you may need to specify "Manual Port Selection" in options. I also have "Respond to Auto-Detection Requests" enabled, though I think this is the default.
