Title: Win 7 Taskbar Visible Theater View
Post by: benn600 on November 19, 2009, 02:23:59 pm
Does anyone else notice how the taskbar in Windows 7 is visible for some strange reason.  I have tried both full visibility as well as auto hide and both are noticeable.  The main problem is, with auto-hide, when it is hidden (as it should be) I see a thin strip of the task bar, only a pixel or two high at the bottom of the screen in theater view.  Clicking theater view does not regain focus and hide it.  In fact, I don't know if it has ever been hidden as it should be.

I haven't tried the new build posted today but will.

I has the same problem with my Windows 7 until I installed the latest build (14.0.101).

This can happen with older builds if you are using a custom font DPI size in Windows 7.  If you use one of the "classic" DPI sizes (100, 125, 150%) then it works fine.  This is supposed to have been fixed in current builds of MC.

I did see the Windows 7 fixes and contemplated waiting to post until I tried 101.  I guess I should have tried it.  I'll install it asap.  Thanks everyone.

Okay, using the latest 101 and the taskbar still shows.  When I first open theater view, I don't see it.  But if I move the mouse it starts showing up.  Just a thin 1 or 2 pixel strip at the bottom of the screen.
