Title: What to use instead of Disk Location?
Post by: HiFiTubes on December 10, 2009, 11:03:52 pm
I want to pin down an exact disk location (folder and subfolders). I have tried some variant of path= but it is pulling in other junk. I wish this faux-field ("disk location") was still around, especially for beginners of MC or people with memory problems. :-[

Edit view scheme > Add category > choose "file path" > Leave the "Path" field blank to get a pane with a folder tree that expands to show the path to your files from the disk root..

Is that what you're after?

Thanks Marko. That's what I remember seeing just the other day but kept trying to do this in the Advanced section and setting "set rules for file display".

This was sitting right in front of me, guess I was tired. Thanks and happy holidays.
