Title: Win(XP) ShutDown pbm
Post by: Cmagic on July 03, 2002, 01:04:18 pm
In case someone knows the trick:

When setting Media Scheduler or Sleep Timer with the action :"Shutdown Windows", my PC does not really stop. Well, it does in the old way.
Showing a message saying :"you can safely turn off your computer now"
I have to do it manually !

When I stop the computer from the 'start' menu it does shut off
nicely and completely.

Do you know if there's an option somewhere ?

Using MJ8.314 with latest sleeptimer (1.05) under Win XP-Pro

thanks

Can't see any APM box to tick in Control Panel/Power Management !!

Does it mean my PC does not have APM on the mother board (MSI K7TPro) ?
This is strange since my PC does shut off normally using the winXP
stop command.

thanks anyway !
