Title: save recently imported views forever? and also our slideshows on updates?

how do i save my recently imported views? i cant for the life of me, figure out how to save them, every time i change the view to the way i like it, then reopen jriver they are back to there defaults?

also when ever i update jriver it removes my slideshow pics ive chosen. ive deleted the van goghs put mine in and when i update it removes mine and puts in van goghs again?

when you go to options>thv>theme, go to browse theme folder, make a new folder there or copy the default folder, and give it a name you like. use the new folder to change the images, the default folder will be overwritten every install, the one you make yorself will not.

gappie any tips on the recently imported? why those views are not sticking?  ive never been able to keep those views?

cant remember recently imported ever sticked. you can save the layout as a preset and set that back everytime. much less work.

i prefer to use a view for recently imported, with panes. use one pane with the expression formatdate([date imported,0],dd-MM-yyyy) and sort it by date imported and you can just pick the date to see what was imported when with the new imported at the top. the thing i like about this approach is that it is easier to delete files, instead of removing it from the list only. and it is much more clearer. made a library field to it that i tick when i tagged it all and put that in an other pane, add a bunch of other usefull panes, and everything is there. works for me. very well actually.

gappie in this new folder we make. do we make folders for all the folders that were in the default?.. audio, images, news, playlists, search television,video and weather?

also i'm assuming we can mix pics and vids within each folder?
