Title: Ipod alternatives?

The recent compatibility issues with Apple and MC seem to make the new Ipod classic 160gb  a dubious choice for MC users. I need to replace my old 1st gen Ipod with something that plays nice with MC and will hold lots of audio (80+ gigs would be preferred). I don't need touch screens, wi-fi, or video ....just a good solid hi capacity mp3 player. Audible files compatible maybe. Suggestions anyone?

Archos (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=archos+7&node=163856011&tag=wwwjrmediacen-20) makes a player that has 160GB or more.
