Title: Switching the background colour in the image editor

i use the image editor a lot. one nice addition could be a way to switch the background colour. when cropping scans it can be handy to switch it to black instaed of white, with dark images white could be a good background. at this moment you can do that by changing the skin, but then you have to leave the editor to get it to work. i would think a nice switch could be a handy addition?
