Title: Change album type

Hi,

I tried to change the album type for one album in my library. Some of the songs in one album are single artist (incomplete) some single artist (complete) but actually it would need to be multiple artist only I cannot change this value in the tags editor. Can someone please help me with this one?

This field is automatically calculated by MC. And it does a pretty good job doing this. Most common problem for this field being incorrect is that your files are incorrectly tagged. My advice is to check the artist, album, album artist and track # to make sure it's correct.

thanks for your reply. I agree that it does a quite good job, still there are entries in my library that are not correct. I checked all the fields that you recommended, but that still did not change anything. Is there a way to update the database manually or correct the value any other way?

Are all the tracks in a unique directory (for the album) and numbered sequentially? How this works is explained in the wiki here (http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Using_Album_Artist_and_Album_Artist_%28Auto%29).
