The file extension cannot be read on a PC with Windows 7.  What to do?

Do you mean the program installer (.exe), the registration file (.mjr), or perhaps the library backup file (.zip) ?

The usual order is:

- Install the program. (It will start with the trial period so you don't need to hurry with the registration.)  The installer:  http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/MediaCenter130172.exe (http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/MediaCenter130172.exe)

- Restore a library backup file from your old installation if that's what you want to do. If you had several libraries on your old PC you need to create the additional empty libraries first and restore an individual library backup file to each library.

- Once you are sure that your installation is stable and everything works correctly restore the program registration (info:  http://www.jrmediacenter.com/buy_13.html (http://www.jrmediacenter.com/buy_13.html) )
