Title: Hiding certain Movies
Post by: MNTheaterGuy on December 31, 2009, 04:55:13 pm
First let me apologize if this has been answered somewhere else. I confess to be a very junior member/user. Although, I am eager to learn.
Is there a way to "hide" certain movies so that they are not shown in the Media center view. For example, I would like to NOT show Rated R movies when I am asking the kids what movie they would like to watch.
Thanks for any help. (BTW, Jim, I agree it is friggin freezing here in MN.)

What you want is Access Control (http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Access_Control).

Thanks, Rick - I didn't know that MC had this feature.

Happy New Year!

How about on-the-fly enabling/disabling of filtering from within theater view.  This is a neat feature I was not fully aware of...I remember the password deal from a while back though.
