Title: Multi User Access Partially Possible?

Is there a way I can run Media Center on my server and have a home theater pc access this with full privileges and updates:

1. Automatic adding of new content without requiring auto import.
2. Tagging write privileges.
3. View scheme / layout updating immediately or periodically.

Would library server potentially help here?  I would like the settings to by synced if possible too.
