Title: Can't we hide media modes from the tree anymore?
Post by: lise on January 04, 2010, 03:53:21 pm
I just went to Tools > Options > General > Advanced > Features and noticed that some items were missing the list, like Documents, which means there is no way to hide it in the tree.

This particular library is in our cinema. All I want in the tree is Video. Nothing else. Isn't that possible?

for getting rid of 'documents' i think disabling 'data support' at that spot would work?

Documents only shows in the tree if you have imported documents.

You could change the media type of iso.

Jimj, if you mean that I could change the tag Media Type for all ISO files after they are imported, that wouldn't be very useful to me. However, if you mean that I could modifiy the file association.xml and move the reference to ISO from the Data section to the Video section such that the ISOs would be imported as Video, that would be mighty fine indeed!
