Title: Ewo Unrelated Questions

1) Is there a Media Jukebox which will run on Linux (specifically Ubuntu)?
2) I'm still running MJ8.
My "music computer" is dedicated only to playing, recording, and editing music, mono and stereo. So, What are the advantages to my upgrading to MJ12 or Media Centre?

I guess the question boils down to "are there any technical improvements in MJ12 in terms of recording, editing, and playing music files?"

should work through WINE, not tested but most programs (even games) works well.
