Title: Can't Rip
Post by: HarryCarbuncle on July 02, 2002, 07:58:52 pm
I am having problems Ripping still.

When I am Ripping, I get a popup Win32 error that says I don't have enough memory to run the program. I have a gig of memory, and no other programs open, so I am sure this is not the case, and I have never seen this message before.

It seems to be when Lame is encoding that it locks up. Then when I hit cancel in the record window, nothing happens. I have to do the three finger salute to escape....

I can rip all day with musicmatch while running multiple programs without a hitch....What Gives?

Thanks, Allen Repashy

Are you using MJ's MP3 plug-in or Lame external encoder?

I tried both encoders, and then went back to just trying to rip to a wave, and then I get a crash even doing this...

here is the error

I can not close this window. I have to reboot to get going again.
