Title: My subwoofer is playing the radio - why ?
Post by: ajowers on January 12, 2010, 08:44:04 pm
I can turn all components off.  I can hear a faint noise of what sounds like a radio playing from my subwoofer.  What can cause this ?  Only the subwoofer is ON.

What can I do to fix it ?

Perhaps the analog input cable isn't well shielded and is picking up some noise?

Double-check the connections and if the cable is cheesy, consider a better one.  I've used television coax for cheap, long subwoofer runs in the past with good success.
