2nd Brigade Combat Team Command & Control Element Will Deploy To Haiti Soon, An Advance Party Left Earlier Today.
One of the 82nds combat missions is to secure Airfields, so i would think that would be one of there major tasks in Haiti.
the devastation does not surprise me, due to how homes are built in most 3rd world countries, And A 7.x Earthquake I Am Sure Did Not Help Much. I Think that the us will be down there helping them for years.
