Post by: gottwavo on January 16, 2010, 09:19:44 am
I have just installed the latest version (and the same happened with the version before): When I import my images to the libary (and I have a lot of images) MC14 crashes after some 400 images imprted ...
Any help or plan to improve this?

That's very odd.  It isn't something we have much trouble with.  It may be a corrupt image.  Please import a directory at a time to see if you can find where the problem is.

I assume you mean build 127, just posted.

Virus checkers can do bad things.

Try disabling PSD import as well.

If you find a bad file, please email a copy to matt at jriver dot com.

If you can't find the file, at least send me a crash log from Help > Logging.

Thanks!

I could not find how to exclude file types from importing. How does this work?

By "I found it" I meant how to exclude certain image files. And when I used it and exluded all raw and psd it worked just fine.
I have a mixure of NEF and jpg and some psd files in the different directories to be added. And I only need the jpg files in Media Center. To work with the NEF files I use Adobe Lightroom.

Thanks for the details.  If you find a file that causes the problem, please let us have a copy.
