Title: Can Media Center 14 convert video files

Hi there,

Can I use MediaCenter 14 to convert video files for use on my iPhone? I have files in .ts format that come from my Humax HDR box and can export them to the PC but as .ts format. I currently have media center 13, which can not even play those files though VLC has no problems. But if v14 can both play and convert it would be a good reason to upgrade.

No.  MC doesn't support the iPhone or Touch.

Thanks for your reply.

By not supporting iPhone, I am wondering if you just mean the connections and synchronizing (i.e. uploading the films and music). If that is the case, I'm not too worried as I could still do that in iTunes.

But does MC14 play the .ts files used by the HUMAX HDR, and can MC14 convert this video to another format?
