Title: Offline File Conflict = Library DB corruption on resume
Post by: jacky on January 23, 2010, 12:28:15 pm
(http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss182/epresents/technical/offlinefile.jpg)

Every time I resume my PC, my "Sync Center" indicates file inconsistencies (between the client and server) containing the Library Database.
The library database is stored on \\server\Media Library RAID\Databases\JRiver Media Center

While Offline Files is enabled in general, Offline File for that particular folder is not enabled.

I suspect during the resume, jMC is making changes to the Library Database files before network connection is fully established.

This issue has lead to corrupting requiring a library restore on a couple occasions already.  As such, I have disabled Offline Files globally and awhile to see if this problem persists.

Can something be done to for this please?  I would prefer to keep Offline Files feature enabled in general for my other files.

Double-check that the Media Center library folder is excluded from the Offline Files.

It doesn't make sense that our library files would show up under 'Offline Files' in your screenshot unless it was enabled for the library folder.
