Title: MC14 freezes when trying to exit

Whenever I exit MC14 it just freezes - to close it down I have to go into Window Task manager

Why do you think it's frozen?  What do you see?

If you're running Media Server, MC remains in the Task Manager.

It might continue to play the music file although I have pressed stop and then File Exit - nothing is moving on screen though

Although I have been using MC for a couple of years and have always found it to be very stable and reliable I am not a techie so dont understand what you mean about Media Server

If the music continues to play after the visible interface is gone, that may be a driver problem.

Had a similar problem with Media Player. Turned out it was the LCD SideShow device on my computer. I can't remember the exact details, but if you have some kind of mini external LCD device it might be related.
