I'm sorry if this has been asked before; I searched but didn't find anything and don't have a lot of time to scour the forums. It probably doesn't help that I don't know the right terminology.
Is there a way to hide media types from the left pane? For example, I do not want to use JRiver for images, documents, or podcasts (actually I'd love to use it for podcasts, but I think it handles them very poorly), and so I would like to hide these from view. Is this possible?
I thought that I did so on another machine by right-clicking and selecting Delete, but I can't do that on my main machine and would rather hide them from view than delete them.

Seeing what the eyes are looking at is a known issue with the human mind. MC offers a helpful workaround—a search filter on the options window. Using this is a much easier way to find a tree in the forest. ;)
