Title: Flying the new 747-8

It hasn't flown yet, but they've spent a lot of time with the simulator version.

It's a new version of the 747 (http://www.wired.com/autopia/2010/02/we-fly-boeings-new-747-8-part-2/).  It's larger than usual and expected to be used as a freighter.

The article describes what it's like for a general aviation pilot to fly the simulator and it describes the procedures they will follow when test flights begin.

It made me decide to spring for the $65 to add the newly available Airbus 380 (http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Detail?no=197) to my X-plane simulator.  I'm looking forward to the 50 knot crosswind landings in Iceland.
